Just after he finally managed to win against Jimmy Connors, he said that. If Gael wins tonight, I hope he comes up with a similar quote. His leg is injured, but he is in very good form. Novak played a very rusty game last night. If stars align for him tonight, maybe he will pull a personal miracle?

Sad to see poor poor Monfils go down like this. His tennis days seem to be over but he doesn't seem to know it. Yes, I will try to watch but it will be hard to watch Novack toy with him a couple of sets and then give Monfils a well deserved tennis lesson. I will give my expert prediction shortly after my houseboy serves my evening tea. Just hope poor poor Monfils at least gives a little effort this time.

Hopefully Monfils does not embarrass himself too much in this match against a real tennis player. It's very possible the chair umpire may have to stop the match using the 3-P's clause under the new rules. Hopefully it won't come to that and we will get to see the first 2 sets complete as Novack wins this easily, 6-0 and 6-1. My final expert prediction.

At 3-4 Monfils got broken with a double fault and 3 unforced errors. Then Novak served to win the 1st set 6-3. Mentally Monfils still is not there. When the going gets tough, he falls under pressure.
