Joker got the better half. Not fair for Nadal as always

Draper? Who just lost to a player, Kwon, ranked 84...this guy is going to knock Rafa out in the first round? Hmmm. Remains to be seen.

Rafa body like an old engine it will take bit time to adopt the condition and bounce of the ball once he feel started comfortable he is the no 1 contender for the title for sure let's hope he will clear 1st 4th round hurdle

I've watched Nadal for at least 15 years and I must say this is a very poor performance. It reminds me of his 2015-16 form where he was prone to a lot of errors and generally didn't exhude that physical prowess that he's always had.

Draper got a taste of what it's like to play Nadal. Long rallies ain't winning him the match

This British lad doesn't have the fitness levels, otherwise seems good

Lots of bitter anti nadal types here. He is effectively still returning from injury, playing a hot day match and against a rising star from 2022. Basically he did enough to get through and thats all that mattered. The tough competition should stand him in good stead for the tough rounds ahead.

A win is a win. He’s surely going to improve.

Bobo.
Suazo, changed the wording to "raised". "Born and bred" is a common phrase in the country where I live. All good.

Extremely tough but still let's hope some time tough is good

This youngster can create problems for Rafa!

If he wins this, next two rounds look easy. and if someone sends tiafoe home he could even make quarters!

Worry about Rafa but I suspect he’ll step up for the slam as he has been doing lately. Rafa in 4 I think.

This is a GS stage, I wouldn't underestimate champ Nadal, but with his current form, I don't know, but it will be a tough challenge most likely. Hope he does what he does, gets a win!

With that said, this is Novak's tuff, I expect and predict champ Novak to get #22 GS.

The impact of the war on tennis in Ukraine: financial aid, foundations, governing bodies and all‑round headaches
The impact of the war on tennis in Ukraine: financial aid, foundations, governing bodies and all‑round headaches
Adrien Guyot 29/11/2025 à 09h08
Since February 2022 and the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, Ukrainian sport has been heavily affected by human, structural and economic losses. Tennis has, of course, not been spared. While Ukrainian athletes have had to rethink their entire organization, an entire country, behind the scenes, has had to adapt and change its training conditions. This extends all the way to the highest level, where professional players have spoken out, trying as best they can to help their nation.
Davis Cup: between reforms, criticism and national culture
Davis Cup: between reforms, criticism and national culture
Clément Gehl 07/12/2025 à 12h38
From controversial reform to fiery statements, the Davis Cup continues to divide. Between nostalgia for the old formats and unwavering love for the jersey, players share their truths about a competition that, despite everything, still makes hearts race.

What if tennis lost its soul? The case of robotized officiating, between tradition and a dehumanized modernity
Adrien Guyot 13/12/2025 à 09h00
Omnipresent cameras, line judges on the verge of extinction, mistakes that persist nonetheless: technology fascinates as much as it divides. Tennis, at a crossroads, is still searching for its balance between progress and emotion.
Training future champions: spotlight on the decline of the French public model facing private academies
Training future champions: spotlight on the decline of the French public model facing private academies
Arthur Millot 06/12/2025 à 13h10
As federations struggle to reinvent themselves, private academies are capturing talent… but also families able to invest tens of thousands of euros a year. A system that is increasingly effective, but also increasingly unequal.
