I'd love to see a five set thrilling final at RG btwn Rafa and Carlito with Rafa lifting his 14th there. And of course his 22nd overall grand slam.

Well. If he loses he won't be getting much needed match play. So it does matter.

It seems you do not know much either about the difference in court conditions between madrid and rome and ruud has not been playing so solid compared to last year (for example). Today he (ruud) almost lost to VDZ.

Please just check madrid titles for nadal and rome titles for nadal.

5 madrid

10 rome

Also, in rome, since 2005, the only winners have been nadal (10x), djokovic (5x), zverev (1x) and murray (1x).

It is a big 2 enourmous dominance in rome, by far.

Madrid with high altitude (benefits big servers, take last years final zverev vs berretini, both big servers) and the arquitecture of the stadiums which are almost like indoors, do not benefit Nadal much and do not make a good comparison with rome or FO conditions.
Bobo.

If Goffin plays against Nadal at Rome, it will be easy two sets for Rafa this time. Goffin missed his chances in Madrid. He will not have another

Isner has served horribly today.

@model2 I don't know what you've been smoking or sniffing but you must be out of your mind to rank those players, including tsisipas over Rafa in Paris. We will see

Doesn't matter how did isner serve, he beat a big server with 6361 is a positive thing to take from this match!

...well..well..well now, you mean Isner is still playing tennis? I honestly thought he retired a couple years back with his washed up buddies Thiem and Monfils. Nadal should have no problem with this has-been bum. I guess the only reason he plays is just for that first round loser's money wich keeps him in smokes n beer. Poor poor Isner is just gonna make a fool of himself so hopefully he won't get booed and jeered off the court like he was in his last match.
