Being super aggressive, I agree, does discomfort Nadal. This is because is because if you let Nadal play offence, it won’t even be a match. He will eat you alive.
The thing is, you have to be a very good player to be aggressive and win. You need to take a great deal of risks, and always go for winners. There’s a reason why the top players in the world rarely play this game. It’s so inconsistent. It’s redlining point after point, hoping the other player isn’t good enough to put up a defence. Pella has nothing to his name.
I’m sick of these headlines saying “secret to beat Nadal revealed!”. There’s a reason why the most aggressive tennis players in the world have little to no success. It requires a great deal of athleticism to keep it going for 3-5 sets, and a shit ton of luck for your ball to be a millimeter on the line, rather than out.
