It's 20 years ago, since another certain 17 year old Russian caused a few murmers in the tennis world, I wonder if this 17 year old can do the same ?

Iga leaves the court to gather her thoughts as usual after losing a set.

This match could be interesting. Can Mirra pull off what would be a true giant killing & get the win against Queen Iga, I believe that if Mirra can take the 1st set, she stands a good chance, of what would be a massive 😱 result, in getting the win.✌️

No she can’t

Sharapova( same nationality) won wimbledon at 17 years young that too beating the hell out of Serena in the final plus Martina Hingis and seles were also winning slams at that age among other greats

That's not you replied to me on my earlier post from yesterday. It's actually what I posted yesterday that if Mirra can win the 1st set, she has a good chance of taking the match.

Good win from Iga. You never really know if she’s going to really dig in and comeback or just give it away. Mirra is mentally getting stronger but she has some more work to do and experience to get.

Great tennis from both.
Better player won.

At the end of the day, Mirra made Iga work for her victory, but Iga's experience came thru in the end to give her the win & qualify for the semi final 👏👌

c'mon Mirra, i know you are gonna try and upstage Iga and i believe in your abilities to do it if not today then the next time you meet her as it's your first meeting, expecting big things.
samiruffsankey
This is going to be a moment. It’s Mirra’a time.

that's a good start if ever there was one! keep at it Mirra.
10nisfan
that's a great set Mirra, now your chances of winning have gone up by 80%

Iga fought back l..now it becomes interesting to see who will take the third
Snoopy 10
That's a bit of a pervy comment towards a young lady.

Have I tickled a nerve🤔 🤣😂

i don't agree with your assessment. i think you can call her what you want and I'll call what i like
