Will Djokovic go to Turin? The state of the ATP Finals race

While Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have already secured their spots, everything is still to play for the remaining six places at the 2025 ATP Finals.

With less than 30 days until the 2025 ATP Finals (November 9-16), the race is on. Only two names are confirmed so far: Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. For the others, everything remains to be proven. Starting with Novak Djokovic, who, although virtually qualified, has cast doubt on his participation. "I will decide based on my physical and mental state," he recently stated.

The Shanghai Masters 1000 reshuffled the deck. The breakthrough of Álex de Minaur, now in the provisional top 8, caused a mini-earthquake: he overtook Musetti and put pressure on players like Félix Auger-Aliassime.

The Canadian might be the surprise guest of this final sprint. After a rollercoaster season, he is returning to a good level at the crucial moment. With 530 points to catch up on Musetti, the challenge is immense... but not impossible, especially if he shines indoors.

Further down, the situation is critical for top players like Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Casper Ruud, and Holger Rune. Their only chance? String together titles or deep runs in the remaining five weeks.

But the biggest question mark is undoubtedly Novak Djokovic. The Serbian, almost guaranteed his spot in Turin, still hasn't confirmed his presence. If he decides to skip, it could free up a spot.
