"No One Likes You," Heated Exchange Between Sakkari and Putintseva
Maria Sakkari and Yulia Putintseva faced off this Sunday in the first round of the Bad Homburg Open in Germany.
The Greek player, a wildcard entry, won the tense match 7-5, 7-6.
During their handshake, a heated argument erupted between the two players, with Sakkari visibly accusing Putintseva of not making eye contact.
The altercation ended with Sakkari telling the Kazakh player, "No one likes you."
In the next round, she will face either Ekaterina Alexandrova or Belinda Bencic.
