After withdrawing from the ATP 500 in Vienna, Greek player Stefanos Tsitsipas has now announced his withdrawal from one of the season's last major events, the Paris Masters 1000.
For Tsitsipas, the bill is becoming heavy. He had already withdrawn from the tournaments in Beijing and Shanghai. Just days before the major Parisian fortnight (Oct 27–Nov 2), the Greek player is therefore throwing in the towel, which benefits Nuno Borges, world number 47, who enters the main draw.
Although Tsitsipas participated in the very lucrative Six Kings Slam in Riyadh, he has not been seen in official competition since his second-round loss to Altmaier at the US Open on August 29th (7-6, 1-6, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5).
