Fonseca Becomes the 7th Youngest Player to Win an ATP 500

Winner of the Basel tournament, Joao Fonseca continues to shine despite his young age. At 19 years and 66 days, the Brazilian has won his first ATP 500 and ranks 28th this Monday.

He becomes the 7th youngest player to win a tournament in this category behind big names such as Andrei Medvedev, Pete Sampras, Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz, Goran Ivanisevic, and Andy Roddick, as reported by the X account Jeu, Set et Maths.

Fonseca will once again be a great attraction to follow for the 2026 season.
