This is the most important victory of my career, rejoices Norrie after beating Alcaraz

Cameron Norrie created a huge surprise this Tuesday evening at the Rolex Paris Masters: beating the world number one, Carlos Alcaraz. While greatly helped by his opponent's 54 unforced errors, the Briton still had to go out and earn this victory.

He spoke after his win: "It's huge for me, really, it's an important moment. My injury last year really complicated things at the start of the season.

I told myself to stop putting pressure on myself and just enjoy the experience of competing in this second half of the season. Beating the most confident player at the moment is incredible.

It's my victory against a number one, and I would say it's the most important victory of my entire career.
