Balls are a recurrent topic in modern tennis, so much so that they are criticized by players.

Worn out very quickly, very slow, prone to injury - these are the main criticisms.

Present in Doha on the sidelines of the WTA 1000 tournament, Aryna Sabalenka published a photo of the state of a ball after 20 minutes of use.

As an example, she put a new ball next to it for comparison.

A striking difference that shows there's potentially a real problem around them.

So is she saying she can't adjust to the change in the balls as they wear down? How does she adjust all the differences in how the surface of the courts are different? She must have a really hard time on clay when how the surface responds changes with significant changes in humidity in the air.

The point is, if she can adjust to differences in the court surface she should be able to wrap her mind around adjusting to how the ball plays differently as the balls are worn down.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
