After his injury in the Monte-Carlo final, Musetti's return is announced
Musetti lost in the final of the Monte-Carlo Masters 1000 against Alcaraz (3-6, 6-1, 6-0).
Although the Italian started the final strongly by winning the first set, he completely faded in the next two sets.
After the match, the player revealed he was suffering from a quadriceps issue. This injury forced him to withdraw from the Barcelona tournament this week.
Sky Sport reported that the 23-year-old player has received the results of his medical tests. He is indeed dealing with a right thigh strain. The world No. 10 will be able to resume training starting April 18 and will make his return at the Madrid Masters 1000 (April 21 to May 4).
