The gap between the world's best players and the rest of the circuit is truly staggering. After Iga Swiatek's demonstration earlier in the day, this time it was Coco Gauff who didn't dawdle on the court. After defeating Cocciarretto in 59 minutes (6-1, 6-2), she perfectly imitated the Pole.

Although less eagerly awaited than the other members of the world's Top 4, the 20-year-old American advanced with great authority from the outset. Reciting her tennis to perfection, she has yet to be troubled, having never lost a set and conceding an average of just over 2 games per set.

For a place in the semi-finals, she will face the winner of the match between Jabeur and Tauson.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Grenier and Hsu at the Kobe tournament? The match was played to completion and on time.

Grenier def Ysu 6-2 , 6-2 at Kobe today and the TT canceled the match.
