Aix-en-Provence: No French Player Advances Past the Final Qualifying Round
This Tuesday marked the final round of qualifying for the Aix-en-Provence Challenger 174. Each of the four matches featured a French player, all of whom were defeated.
Benoit Paire suffered a heavy loss to Mark Lajal, 6-0, 6-1. Arthur Bouquier put up a fight against Valentin Vacherot but ultimately fell 6-1, 3-6, 7-6.
Meanwhile, Calvin Hemery lost to Ignacio Buse 6-3, 7-5. Titouan Droguet also saw his run end against Albert Ramos-Vinolas due to retirement.
