After defeating Quinn in the first round (6-2, 7-6), Alcaraz overcame Serbia's Djere (6-2, 6-4) to reach the quarterfinals in Barcelona.

Fresh off his first-ever victory in Monte-Carlo, the Spaniard arrived in Catalonia brimming with confidence. The world No. 2 has now won his seventh consecutive match on clay this season.

During the match, the El Palmar native fired 15 winners and converted 4 out of 6 break points, sealing the victory in just 1 hour and 10 minutes. He also claimed four love games.

Next, he will face the winner of the match between De Minaur and Fearnley.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
