Alcaraz easily defeats Dimitrov and advances to the quarterfinals of Indian Wells

There wasn’t really a match between Carlos Alcaraz and Grigor Dimitrov. It took the Spaniard just 1 hour and 14 minutes to dispatch the Bulgarian with a score of 6-1, 6-1, despite very strong winds.
In a post-match interview, he said: "It's really tough to play against Grigor. He's very talented. He can do whatever he wants with the ball.
The last two times, I lost to him. It's always difficult. Today, with the conditions, it was really tough for both of us. I had to hang in there.
I always say that in these conditions, you have to survive no matter what. I'm really happy that I was able to play long rallies and find a good rhythm despite the conditions. Happy to have qualified."
Alcaraz will face Francisco Cerundolo in the quarterfinals, who defeated Alex de Minaur.
