Alcaraz Rolls Past Nakashima to Reach Tokyo Semifinals
Carlos Alcaraz is gaining momentum in Tokyo. Facing Brandon Nakashima, the Spaniard played a nearly perfect first set, winning 100% of points behind his first serve and losing only 2 behind his second.
He took the first set 6-2. The second set was tighter between the two players but still went in Alcaraz's favor, as he ultimately won 6-2, 6-4.
During the match, Alcaraz hit 39 winners and recorded his 65th victory this year. He will face Casper Ruud in the semifinals.
