Video - Alcaraz in bulldozer mode: relive his incredible final game against Nakashima in Tokyo

In Tokyo, Carlos Alcaraz showed why he is the world number one against Brandon Nakashima, especially in the final moments of the match.
Carlos Alcaraz qualified for the semifinals of the ATP 500 tournament in Tokyo. In control against Brandon Nakashima, the Spaniard won without any scares (6-2, 6-4 in 1h20) and will face Casper Ruud for a spot in the final.
The world number one even had some fun, as evidenced by the final game of the match. While serving for the match, Alcaraz won his service game to love, with four high-level points (see video below).
Volley, wrong-footing, powerful forehand... Nakashima saw it all and could only acknowledge the damage caused by his opponent's superiority: "I've never played a final game like that before," the main person involved reacted after his performance.
Having had an excellent 2025 season, the Spaniard, who holds the record for the most titles on the ATP tour this season (7), is now just two wins away from a 24th career title.
To go all the way in this tournament in Japan, he will first have to beat Casper Ruud before challenging an American player, Taylor Fritz or Jenson Brooksby, if he qualifies for the final.
