Alcaraz : Surpass the 24 Grand Slams of Djokovic

Carlos Alcaraz is currently competing in the Argentina Open on the clay courts of Buenos Aires. Interviewed by Olé Tennis (Argentinian media) on the sidelines of the tournament, the Spaniard reiterated his lofty goals. Being fully aware that only time would allow their realism to be judged.

Alcaraz: "At the moment, I think Djokovic and Sinner are the players to beat. They are at such a high level that few people can beat them. But I am very ambitious, I always want to see big and dream big. It is obvious that Djokovic's 24 titles are a goal to be achieved at the end of my career.

Now, let's wait and see where I will end up because maybe I will get to 5, maybe I will stay at 2. I am very competitive and that's also what pushes me to the highest level to try and be at the same level as the Big 3. The truth is, I dream big."
