Alcaraz warns Sinner: "We'll see at the end of the year who's at the top".
Although he has already won two Grand Slam tournaments this season, Carlos Alcaraz is still a long way behind Jannik Sinner in the ATP rankings (3rd, 1440 points behind the Italian).
Indeed, with his bluffing consistency, Sinner still holds a certain lead over his main pursuers.
Despite this, 'Carlito' isn't giving up hope and intends to reclaim his place on the ATP throne before the end of the season.
In a rivalry that continues to enthrall, the El Palmar prodigy explained: "For me, Sinner is the most consistent player. He's won a Grand Slam. With the exception of this tournament (Wimbledon), he's reached the semi-finals in every tournament he's played.
He deserves to still be in this position. I've won some great tournaments, so let's hope he keeps it up and we'll see at the end of the year who's higher."
