Andreeva on facing her sister: We will stay professional

Mirra Andreeva will make her debut this Wednesday at the Stuttgart tournament and will face her sister, Erika, who is a lucky loser in the first round.

During her press conference, Andreeva knew she would face a lucky loser but had not yet learned her opponent's identity.

A journalist then raised the possibility of her playing against her sister, to which Andreeva replied: "We will stay professional because we have no choice. We will step onto the court and play as if it were a normal match.

It will probably be an entertaining and great match."

The Andreeva sisters have faced each other only once, in October 2024 in Wuhan, where Erika won 6-3, 6-1.
