ATP/WTA Brisbane: Djokovic - Monfils, Mpetshi Perricard - Tiafoe and Sabalenka on Thursday's programme

The Brisbane tournament continues on Thursday, with a number of mouth-watering line-ups to kick off the year 2025.

On the men's side, all eyes will be on the first match of the evening session (from 6.30pm local time, 9.30am in France) between Novak Djokovic and Gaël Monfils.

The former world No.1, who is 19-0 in head-to-head meetings, could reach the symbolic milestone of twenty wins against the Frenchman.

But before this match (not before 2pm local time, 5am in France), Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard will be back on Brisbane's centre court to try and put Frances Tiafoe to the sword, as he did in Paris-Bercy at the end of last season.

On the women's side, Aryna Sabalenka will close out the day (not before 8pm local time, 11am in France) against No.15 seed Yulia Putintseva.

Ons Jabeur, scheduled for court 2, will face Elina Avanesyan for a place in the quarter-finals.
