Australian Federation Announces Wild Cards for the US Open
As per the agreement between the American and Australian Federations, one male and one female Australian player have been invited to the US Open.
This year, the Australian Federation has selected Tristan Schoolkate and Talia Gibson, who will therefore be exempt from qualifying rounds. In total, there will be 9 Australian players in the men’s draw and 5 in the women’s draw.
For reference, the French Federation’s wild-card recipients for the US Open are Valentin Royer and Caroline Garcia.
