Cincinnati Masters 1000 Qualifiers: Mannarino, Royer, and Atmane Secure Main Draw Spots

The first three French players competing in the Cincinnati Masters 1000 qualifiers enjoyed successful runs.
As in Toronto, Adrian Mannarino and Valentin Royer managed to advance through the two qualifying rounds to secure their spots in the main draw. The former comfortably defeated Dalibor Svrcina (6-3, 6-4), while the latter staged a comeback against Liam Draxl (2-6, 6-3, 6-4).
Terence Atmane, who had suffered three consecutive losses before arriving in Cincinnati, turned things around. He first eliminated Omar Jasika (7-5, 6-4) yesterday before dominating Li Tu (7-5, 6-3) on Wednesday. Like Royer, this will be his first appearance in the tournament’s main draw.
Due to yesterday’s rain delays, Arthur Cazaux had to return to the court today to finish his first-round match. After a tough battle against Mark Lajal, he ultimately prevailed (4-6, 6-1, 6-2) and will return late Wednesday night into Thursday to face Thiago Agustin Tirante.
