Coric beats Bouquier and wins the Thionville Challenger
Borna Coric continues his fine form in Challenger tournaments. After winning the Lugo Challenger last week, he claims victory in Thionville this week.
He defeated Arthur Bouquier in the final with a score of 6-4, 6-4. Bouquier's week had started very poorly after receiving a highly alarming threat from a bettor.
The Frenchman had an overall good tournament and will break into the Top 200 for the first time in his career.
As for Coric, this victory temporarily places him at 111th and brings him closer to the main draw of Roland-Garros. He will return to play on clay in Zadar during the week of March 17.
