Davenport on Swiatek's Recent Performances: "She Seems More Stressed on the Court"

Iga Swiatek will arrive at Indian Wells without having won any titles at the start of the season for the first time since 2020.
Eliminated in the semifinals in Doha, where she was the three-time defending champion, and in the quarterfinals in Dubai, the Polish player does not display the same level of confidence on the court as in previous seasons.
A change noticed by Lindsay Davenport, as she analyzed for the Tennis website: "She seems more stressed on the court. I'm not sure if it’s because the results have not met expectations or due to the coaching change.
She doesn't appear as calm and comfortable on the court. But sometimes, it just takes one tournament, one match, one set, something that serves as a trigger, and everything starts to get better.
She's lucky to arrive at one of her favorite tournaments. For me, she's the favorite at Indian Wells."
