Davidovich Fokina, on his third lost final: "Good things come to those who know how to wait"

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina lost his third ATP final in Acapulco, two weeks after the one in Delray Beach.
Defeated by Tomas Machac 7-6, 6-2, the Spaniard did not appear dejected during the trophy ceremony.
He stated: "On my part, I admit that I came here feeling defeated after losing another final a week ago, but I came with high expectations and great confidence.
I didn't know there were so many people in Mexico who would support me in this way, which was evident from the first match.
During that match, I already saw myself flying to Los Angeles, and, in the end, here I am this Saturday with all of you, enjoying a final.
Obviously, it's always sad to lose a final, but good things come to those who know how to wait, you have to fight for it.
Tomas has been fighting for it for a long time, and I will do the same. I hope to achieve it here next year."
