Stats - Since 1990, 8 male players have been Top 25 without winning a title

The X account Jeu, Set et Maths shared an interesting statistic. Tomas Machac and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina faced each other in the Acapulco final for their first title.

While one is Top 25 and the other has been, neither player had ever won a title on the ATP Tour. Thanks to his victory, Tomas Machac ended that.

Davidovich Fokina, on the other hand, remains titleless and is part of a list of 8 players who have been Top 25 without any titles.

It includes Jerzy Janowicz, Henrik Holm, Hyeon Chung, Botic van de Zandschulp, Davidovich Fokina, Vladimir Voltchkov, Julien Benneteau, and Vasek Pospisil.
