A week full of surprises on the ATP Tour has just come to an end.

Thanks to his victory at the Dubai tournament, Stefanos Tsitsipas makes his return to the Top 10, which he had left in May 2024.

Tomas Machac, on the other hand, makes his debut in the Top 20 by winning the first title of his career at the ATP 500 in Acapulco.

Felix Auger-Aliassime is also back in the Top 20 thanks to his final in Dubai.

The good news doesn’t stop there for Canadian tennis, as Shapovalov returns to the Top 30 for the first time since September 2023 after his semifinal run in Acapulco.

Thanks to his title in Santiago, Laslo Djere returns to the Top 100 and will likely avoid Roland-Garros qualifying.

The impact of the war on tennis in Ukraine: financial aid, foundations, governing bodies and all‑round headaches
The impact of the war on tennis in Ukraine: financial aid, foundations, governing bodies and all‑round headaches
Adrien Guyot 29/11/2025 à 09h08
Since February 2022 and the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, Ukrainian sport has been heavily affected by human, structural and economic losses. Tennis has, of course, not been spared. While Ukrainian athletes have had to rethink their entire organization, an entire country, behind the scenes, has had to adapt and change its training conditions. This extends all the way to the highest level, where professional players have spoken out, trying as best they can to help their nation.
Davis Cup: between reforms, criticism and national culture
Davis Cup: between reforms, criticism and national culture

From controversial reform to fiery statements, the Davis Cup continues to divide. Between nostalgia for the old formats and unwavering love for the jersey, players share their truths about a competition that, despite everything, still makes hearts race.
The paradox dividing tennis: exhausted players and a saturated calendar, yet ever more exhibitions
The paradox dividing tennis: exhausted players and a saturated calendar, yet ever more exhibitions

Exhausted but omnipresent stars, ever-longer tournaments and exhibitions that have become a business in their own right: tennis is revealing its deepest contradictions, torn between spectacle and physical survival.
As a laboratory for tomorrow’s tennis, does the Next Gen Masters have a future?
As a laboratory for tomorrow’s tennis, does the Next Gen Masters have a future?
Jules Hypolite 13/12/2025 à 17h01
Conceived as a bold bet to prepare for the post–Big 3 era, the Next Gen Masters has shaken up the codes of modern tennis. A pioneering, visionary tournament, but now in search of an identity.

As we move to the end of this month and also closing out the year I am wishing all of those following me a Merry Christmas and a Happy/Healthy New Year.

Let's make that wish for all 2000 plus players hoping for 5 wins each day. Hoping ŵhen we open the results page to see all green, and no red. And especially NO CANCELED matches.

From me and my rotti JAZ, I bid you all good night, and see you in...

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?

Steffi Graf completed a Golden Slam (not just a career Grand Slam) when she was 19. She is the only person to accomplish that, winning the four majors plus Olympic gold the same calendar year.
