Djere edges out Baez in a thriller to win Santiago tournament
The final of the ATP 250 in Santiago featured Laslo Djere and Sebastian Baez. The Argentine had the chance to win a second consecutive title in two weeks, following his victory in Rio.
Unfortunately for him, the double was not to be, as Djere won 6-4, 3-6, 7-5.
This victory earns him his third career title, the first since October 2020 in Santa Margherita di Pula.
This title allows him to re-enter the Top 100, which he had previously left. He is now ranked 74th in the ATP rankings this Monday.
