De Minaur on the Djokovic/Murray partnership: "It's crazy to see that".
After a career-best 2024 season, Alex de Minaur isn't really on vacation just yet. In fact, he'll be taking part in the UTS final in London (December 6-8).
Giving a little of his time to the press, the Australian was kind enough to return to one of the shock announcements of the moment: the collaboration between Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.
Between astonishment and impatience, he declared: "The news about Novak (Djokovic) and Andy (Murray) was a shock for the tennis world. It's crazy to see that. The first experience I had with Andy was when I played against him in the Laver Cup.
I came into the locker room and Andy was being coached by Roger (Federer), Rafa (Nadal) and Novak. For me, it was one of the most surreal moments of my life. I can't yet imagine what this dynamic will be like. It will be fun to watch and I'll be following it closely."
