UTS London: Humbert and Monfils dominate Group A, full results from day one
The final UTS event of the season is underway. The Finals take place in London and see the eight best players of the year on this circuit battle it out for the most prestigious title of all.
Two French players are taking part in the English tournament and have got off to a perfect start.
Ugo "The Commander" Humbert dominated Thanasi "Kokki" Kokkinakis (16-7, 15-9, 15-12), while Gaël "La Monf" Monfils overcame Andrey "Rublo" Rublev (19-15, 13-9, 17-9).
In Group A, it's the two French players who lead after the first match.
In the other group, Jan-Lennard "The Thunder" Struff and Alex "The Demon" De Minaur also got off to a good start.
The German overcame Alexander "The Bublik Enemy" Bublik (15-14, 14-13, 16-12).
As for the Australian, it took him a set to really get going against Holger "The Viking" Rune. He finally won in four sets (12-13, 21-6, 17-7, 25-5).
