Djokovic fails to shine, but reaches the semi-finals and Musetti!

Novak Djokovic did what he had to do to reach the last four of these Olympic Games.

After starting the match at a very high level, the Serb gradually lost momentum, conceding the first four games of the second set (6-3, 0-4).

Despite some superb shots, Tsitsipas was unable to take advantage. Making a few unforgivable errors at important moments, the Greek let Djokovic come back and finally win the tie-break of the second set (6-3, 7-6).

There will therefore be no medal for Greece at these Games.

For Djokovic, the main thing is to recover physically.

His knee seemed to be bothering him and he'll need to play at 100% physical strength if he's to overcome a confident Lorenzo Musetti in the semi-finals.
