Djokovic injures his knee again and will miss the Olympic semi-finals?
Concern surrounding Novak Djokovic. The Serb appears to have re-injured his right knee against Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarter-finals of the Olympic Games on the clay of Roland-Garros. The injury is similar to the one that forced him to withdraw from the quarter-finals of the French Open in June, before undergoing meniscus surgery.
Djokovic's withdrawal from the semi-finals is a possibility. It's not certain that he'll be able to defend his chances against Lorenzo Musetti this Friday evening. All the more so as the world no. 2 has not been reassuring in his post-match interviews. He suggested that he would need a miracle for the rest of the tournament.
Novak Djokovic: "I'm very worried, to be honest. I don't know what to say. The pain was very strong for two games after it happened. I don't even know whether I slipped, hit my head or something else.
It's all similar to what I experienced at Roland Garros, where I managed to finish the match, only to find out later that the injury was serious. I don't know what to say. I'm happy with the win, but I'm worried about what's to come. I pray that everything will go well."

Those are just yours and people like you the last desperation to twist the truth and the obvious.
The bottom line is that facts and results don't lie, but haters opinions do.
But, if you sincerely don't know, then maybe your injury is not fake.
Re the grandma comment. There is a difference between most sucessful and greatest. For example for many years Schumacher was the most sucessful F1 driver, but not considered by a great many to be the greatest, due to many sportsmanship and other issues he was at the core of. Djokovic is viewed in a similar way, especially when you compare him to Nadal and Federer. Hence its debatable even to talk about the greatest between those 3.
Remember that for years and years Roy Emerson had the lead on 12 Slams, but was hardly mentioned in GOAT type discussions. It was really only when sampras hit his 13th that slam count became considered and even then debate was had Sampras 14 vs. 8 Agassi with the Golden slam and all Agassi did for bringing tennis into the mainstream.
Debate is quite healthy at the end of the day, not screaming and crying people down for having a different view or even for simply wanting a discussion.
Haters, please quote when he faked injury and after that played as he was brand new.
Besides that, many of you wrote in the same way (shameless) on his RG injury.
There is also the aspect of greatness not just being about results only, but also about conduct and sportsmanship, which most would agree he badly falls down on.
What "healthy discussion" you expect when you call Djokovic surgery fake and you see only his "bad behaviour", while having blind eye for the others.
Why don't you enlighten us about Fed, Rafa's, Murray...... surgery? Were they real?
As much as I care, Schumacher can be your greatest tennis player.
Love him or hate him, nothing will change Novak GOAT status.
I'm even surprised that there are people who still even talk bout this obvious, bringing the nonsense and my grandma into discussion.
