Djokovic sweeps past Dimitrov in Miami to reach his 60th Masters 1000 final

In just over an hour of play, Novak Djokovic qualified for the Miami Masters 1000 final after dominating Grigor Dimitrov (6-2, 6-3).
Facing an opponent against whom he has a clear lead in head-to-head encounters (12 wins to 1 before this match) and despite windy conditions, Djokovic put on a demonstration on the Miami central court.
The start of the match was disrupted by the expulsion of a spectator in the stands, who made inappropriate remarks toward Dimitrov. After this brief interruption, Djokovic pulled away, achieving the first break of the match at 3-2, before concluding the first set with a double break.
With only two unforced errors throughout the set, he took advantage of the Bulgarian's shaky service (43% of first serves, 44% of points won behind) to take the lead.
Unable to trouble the world No. 5, Dimitrov conceded his serve at the start of the second set, allowing Djokovic to calmly advance toward an eighth final in Florida.
The Serbian is now just one win away from his 100th career title and a seventh triumph in Miami. He will be the clear favorite in the final, which will pit him against either Taylor Fritz or Jakub Mensik on Sunday.
