Draper, Injured in Arm, Ends His Season
A tough blow for Jack Draper. The Brit, who was having the best season of his young career (title at Indian Wells, final in Madrid) and had entered the top 5, will not continue his ascent this year.
Withdrawn from the US Open before his second round, Draper announced this Monday that he is ending his 2025 season, still troubled by his arm, an injury that has been following him since Wimbledon.
"Hello everyone, a little update from me. Unfortunately, my arm injury requires me to rest, and that means I will be out for the remainder of the 2025 season. This is very difficult for me to accept, especially as I was in a positive dynamic and playing at a very high level.
However, I have been through this before, and I always come back stronger because I am very motivated to fulfill my potential as a player. A huge thank you to everyone who supports and encourages me on this journey. I am looking forward to coming back and giving it my all. See you soon!" wrote the world No. 7 on Instagram.
