Atmane and Halys Enter the Main Draw of the ATP 250 Chengdu Tournament

From September 17 to 23, the Asian tour will officially kick off with two tournaments in China, in Hangzhou and Chengdu. Notably, in the latter, several withdrawals have been recorded in recent days, with Alexandre Muller, Nuno Borges, Jaume Munar, Miomir Kecmanovic, and Daniel Altmaier all pulling out. *
This Monday, Jack Draper, who was initially registered for the tournament, announced he is ending his season due to a left arm injury and will therefore not be able to take his spot. This wave of withdrawals benefits several players, including two French players.
First on the waiting list, Térence Atmane, a semifinalist at the Cincinnati Masters 1000 after coming through qualifying but absent from the US Open, takes advantage to enter the main draw, as does Quentin Halys. The world No. 71 is on a run of nine losses in his last ten matches and will try to bounce back in Chengdu.
