Draper withdraws from Dubai tournament

Jack Draper was due to face qualifier Marton Fucsovics in the first round of the ATP 500 Dubai.

But the Briton has decided to withdraw, in order to rest up after a good week in Doha.

On X, he declared: "I've taken the decision to withdraw from Dubai.

After an excellent week in Doha, I'm taking on board the advice to prioritize my recovery and manage my body after a number of long matches and give myself the best chance of being competitive all year round.

I'm disappointed not to be taking part in such an incredible event as Dubai, but I'm looking forward to returning to competition in Indian Wells and Miami."
