Halys qualifies for Dubai tournament
Quentin Halys had to go through qualifying to play in the ATP 500 Dubai. After beating Yasutaka Uchiyama, he eliminated Pavel Kotov on Sunday 7-6, 7-5 and made 11 aces in 2h01 of play.
The Frenchman had already qualified last week in Doha, before falling to Felix Auger-Aliassime in the first round.
Pending the placement of qualifiers, he could face Tallon Griekspoor, Grigor Dimitrov, Jack Draper or Andrey Rublev.
The other qualifiers are Marton Fucsovics, Christopher O'Connell and Roman Safiullin.
