Draper's Mother Moved by Her Son's Victory at Indian Wells: "I Lived the Rollercoaster"

Jack Draper won Indian Wells against Holger Rune (6-2, 6-2) and claimed his first Masters 1000 title.
The Brit delivered an outstanding performance by eliminating two top 5 players, including the two-time defending champion Alcaraz. The 23-year-old player also lost only one set throughout the tournament.
In an interview shared by the BBC, Jack Draper's mother, Nicky Draper, praised her son:
"He has worked so hard for this. He has always been a very good player, but that doesn’t take you very far. You really have to work and do it day after day, and focus on all the different aspects you need in tennis.
I watched all his matches, experiencing intense emotions every time—it was a rollercoaster."
The Brit was rewarded on Monday, March 17, with the world number 7 ranking, his highest career ranking.
