ATP Rankings: Draper Takes 7th Place, Djokovic Returns to the Top 5, and Arthur Fils Becomes French Number One
This Monday, March 17, the ATP unveiled its new rankings. Following the results of Indian Wells, several changes are notable in the Top 10.
Jack Draper secures 7th place after his victory at Indian Wells, earning 3800 points. Djokovic gains two spots and re-enters the top 5 with 3860 points. Meanwhile, Medvedev loses 400 points (8th). Jannik Sinner unsurprisingly retains his position as world number 1 (10,330 points).
The Italian's runner-up, Zverev, loses 400 points (7545 points). Spain's Carlos Alcaraz remains 3rd but loses 200 points (6710). Denmark's Holger Rune, the Indian Wells finalist, moves up one spot (12th).
As for the French players, Arthur Fils is the top-ranked Frenchman (18th). Müller (41st), Halys (57th), and Royer (121st) all achieve their highest rankings.
