Sinner Joins Murray in Number of Weeks Spent as World No. 1
Suspended until May, Jannik Sinner maintains a solid lead in the ATP rankings over his two main competitors, Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz.
Even though he will lose the 1000 points from his victory in Miami last year, the Italian holds the world No. 1 spot for the 41st consecutive week, matching the number of weeks Andy Murray spent at the top of the ATP rankings.
In two weeks, after the Miami Masters 1000, Sinner will equal Gustavo Kuerten (43 weeks) in this statistic. He will then need a bit more time to catch up to Jim Courier and his 58 weeks as world No. 1.
