Draw for the ATP 250 tournament in Stuttgart: Zverev, Fritz, and Shelton present, French represented in numbers

After the end of Roland Garros, the grass season begins, which is very short and will conclude in mid-July after the Wimbledon final. In Stuttgart, some players don't want to waste any time and aim to get accustomed to the surface as soon as possible before arriving in London.

Top seed Alexander Zverev will enter the competition in the second round against the winner of the match between Fabio Fognini and Corentin Moutet. Taylor Fritz, who was prematurely eliminated at Roland Garros, will start his tournament against Quentin Halys or Lorenzo Sonego.

Ben Shelton, who also has a first-round exemption, could face Damir Dzumhur if the Bosnian wins his opening match against a qualifier. As for the French players, they will be well represented in Germany.

Besides Moutet and Halys, Benjamin Bonzi will play against Jiri Lehecka, while Gaël Monfils will face Alex Michelsen. Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, a Wimbledon round of 16 participant last year, will compete against Roman Safiullin, and Arthur Rinderknech will also have an exciting match against Denis Shapovalov.
