Felix has improved a lot, Sinner discusses his semifinal match against Auger-Aliassime at the US Open

Felix Auger-Aliassime, a surprise semifinalist at the US Open, will face Jannik Sinner.

Although the Canadian leads their head-to-head 2-1, facing the Italian may not bring back the best memories for him, as Sinner crushed him 6-0, 6-2 in Cincinnati just a few weeks ago.

However, when asked about this matchup in a press conference, Sinner preferred to be cautious.

He stated: "It will be a completely different match from the previous one, starting with the conditions of this tournament. He has had some great wins in recent weeks, so I'm sure he will be very confident against me.

We'll see; I feel like anything can happen. Personally, I always try to focus on myself. For now, I'm very happy to be in the semifinals of a tournament like this again.

I feel like Felix has improved a lot; even in just one week, I've seen him make big adjustments, so I expect a great match, very tough for both of us.

It will be different; it's a Grand Slam, the energy and everything else are different. It will be very interesting to watch.
