Ferrero on the exhibitions played by Alcaraz: "They allow you to relax a little"
Before boarding the plane to California and Indian Wells, Carlos Alcaraz landed on the island of Puerto Rico, where he will play an exhibition match against Frances Tiafoe on Sunday.
The world's No. 3 player is familiar with this type of event, having played the 'Netflix Slam' against Rafael Nadal in Las Vegas last year, right before Indian Wells.
A choice approved by his coach Juan Carlos Ferrero, as he explained to the site El Nuevo Dia:
"They allow you to relax a little, they are played in a different way. But there's a certain level of intensity and demand.
Playing this type of match with a smile, putting on a show for the fans, it always helps to relax a bit."
