Fonseca: "My dream is to become world number one"

Joao Fonseca has qualified for the second round of the Indian Wells Masters 1000, not without difficulty, by eliminating Jacob Fearnley.

Invited on the Tennis Channel set, the Brazilian spoke about his ambitions: "I think every professional player, or junior, wants to be in the Top 10 or play against their idol.

But my dream is to become number one, I've said it several times, and I'm working to achieve it. I've worked very hard to get there."

This taste for effort was demonstrated once again by Fonseca after his victory against Fearnley.

Indeed, he returned to the practice courts to work on his return. An initiative that clearly shows his ambition.
