For De Minaur, the appetite comes with eating: "In 2025, I want to put to good use all the lessons I've learned this year".
2024 was a pivotal year for Alex De Minaur.
The Australian reached the highest ranking of his career (6th in the world) and continued to progress, particularly in Grand Slam events where he reached the quarter-finals three times (Roland-Garros, Wimbledon, US Open).
The 25-year-old has just rounded off his season by winning the UTS London, beating Holger Rune in the final.
After the match, De Minaur expressed his satisfaction with his progress, but has no intention of resting on his laurels.
"I couldn't have asked for a better weekend in London.
2024 was undoubtedly my best season so far, but I don't think it will be the best of my career.
I want to keep improving, to be even better in the future. I want to take all the lessons I've learned this year and put them to good use in 2025," he told Tennis Channel.
