Fritz: "I believe in myself against the best, and I'm no longer uncomfortable in decisive moments".

Taylor Fritz is gradually confirming his new status as a player capable of shining at major tournaments. After reaching the US Open final last September, his first Grand Slam final, he qualified for the Masters final on Saturday afternoon by beating Alexander Zverev.
Much of the difference lies in the American's new attitude when the intensity of the battle increases and the points become decisive. Whereas in the past he tended to tense up in these situations against the best players, he is now able to raise his game.
Taylor Fritz: "Yes, I think (I can be proud of my progress). I'm confident in my game and my level, and I don't feel as uncomfortable in these situations anymore.
I've found myself in these situations against the best at major events recently. So I'm getting more and more comfortable in the moment and I'm really confident in my game."
