Sinner crushes Ruud and joins Fritz in the Masters final!
The favorite in this semi-final against Casper Ruud, Jannik Sinner didn't fall into the trap and secured his place in the Masters final (6-1, 6-2) in just over an hour's play.
While most fans expected this result, the world No. 1 still had to confirm it on court. He was never troubled by Ruud, as evidenced by the first set, which he won 6-1 in 31 minutes.
In the second set, Sinner again broke the Norwegian twice to secure his place in the final.
It was an impressive display from the Italian, who will be playing in his second consecutive Masters final tomorrow. He was defeated by Novak Djokovic in two sets.
This time, however, it will be a completely different story against Taylor Fritz, whom he had already beaten in the group phase after a close match.
