Fritz on the Dominance and Feats of the Big 3: "It's Incredible to See How They Could Play Nonstop"
Taylor Fritz advanced to the round of 16 at the Madrid Masters 1000 yesterday after Benjamin Bonzi retired.
In comments reported by Arab News, the world No. 4 spoke about the difficulty of back-to-back tournaments on clay and the Big 3's ability to dominate during this part of the season:
"These guys could play nonstop. It’s extremely tough to keep going, to have a big week every single time. Especially during this part of the year, because there are so many big tournaments in a row.
There’s really no ideal week to rest in this schedule. So yeah, it’s a very tough stretch of the year. You just have to win, win, win, and keep winning… But it shows the incredible level of those three."
